I work to raise the right questions and lead to find the best solutions.

MFA in Interaction Design at Umeå Institute of Design (UID) in Sweden.

Started with an MEng in Product Design Engineering from Loughborough University, learning how to make things that work. Worked a couple of years in London in places like iMakr, at the forefront of 3D printing; and the Royal Society of the Arts - in the Student Design Awards, and with the Great Recovery Team, pushing the boundaries of sustainability. Later freelanced as a filmmaker for Gravity Sketch and BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Decided to move to the freezing north of Sweden and start the Industrial Design Intensive at UID, to learn how to design for humans; after that year long course and loving the environment so much I chose to do the masters degree in Interaction Design also at Umeå, building on everything I've done before and driving beyond, into what design can become.

Between first and second year of my masters I worked in Rotterdam in a small social design studio called AB/Z for half a year, and then at the Creative Play Lab in LEGO, Denmark, for the other half of the year.

Personally, all I ever wanted was to become a great designer, I feel there's enough shit products already out there and I don't want to add to the problem but be a solution to it, and that can only happen through good thoughtful design. I see my role as a connector, someone who helps people achieve their goals, take the ideas in their head and bring them to reality. My aim is to work with people I believe in to help them reach their maximum potential and success using what I know best, to be creative!

This is why I left my tiny island and have travelled all around the world learning and working from the best, to become the most complete designer and human possible.

From Gran Canaria to Loughborough, London, Buenos Aires, Rotterdam, Billund, Umeå and wherever it takes me next!
What can describe me better than my desk...
"Interaction designers are trained to observe humanity and to balance complicated ideas and are used to think in opposites: large and small, conceptual and pragmatic, human and technical.
We are the shapers of behaviour"
- Jon Kolko

Process

My process is best described by this video I made for Afdeling Buitengewone Zaken during Dutch Design Week 2018
Teamwork, get my hands dirty as soon as possible, go outside to test with real people, iterate, iterate, iterate...
